Five match winning streak ends for Warriors 26 July 2010
The Warriors are in an NRL top eight log jam after a lacklustre end to their five match winning streak against Souths
The NRL playoff hopes of the Warriors have taken a hit, losing 38-28 to the Rabbitohs and ending a five match winning streak.
The Warriors were ahead 20-10 at halftime, only to capitulate after the break, scoring just one more try.
Second rower Micheal Luck describes their performance as a massive step down from what they have shown they can put out on the field and believes the Warriors need to cherish the ball more as they let the Rabbitohs back into the match.
Luck says once they let Souths into the game, there was no coming back as the Rabbitohs are a very tough side to face. He says they were off the money, which they have not been over the past two months, so they deserved what they got and will learn a lesson from it.
Luck says even in the first half they were making crucial errors and that continued after the break and the Bunnies pounced.
The loss leaves the Warriors sitting in sixth on the table on 24 points, six points behind the top of the table St George Dragons but just two inside the top eight.
Meanwhile the Manly Sea Eagles have moved into the top four with a 38-20 win over the Wests Tigers in Sydney.
