Patten to leave Bulldogs 27 July 2010
Bulldogs fullback Luke Patten has confirmed he will join UK Super League club Salford at the end of the the current NRL season.
Veteran Bulldogs fullback Luke Patten will leave the NRL to play for the Salford Reds in the UK Super League at the end of the 2010 season.
Patten has played 276 first grade games for the Bulldogs and the Dragons and also made three appearances for the Country Origin side.
Meanwhile Bulldogs captain Andrew Ryan has confirmed he will continue with the NRL side until the end of 2011. There had been speculation that he would also head to the UK at the end of this season.
The Bulldogs have recruited heavily for next season, signing Manly rookie halfback Trent Hodkinson, impressive Storm prop Aiden Tolman, Eels five-eighth Kris Keating and have already picked up prop Ryan Tandy from the Storm.
