Boycott alarms Kiwis hopeful
 28 July 2010
A strike being considered by NRL players of the 4 Nations tournament could impact on Kiwis wanting to represent their country

Lance Hohaia
Kiwis and Warriors fullback Lance Hohaia is alarmed by talk of a Four Nations boycott.

A report out of Australia has revealed NRL players are considering boycotting the tournament because of the delay in setting up the independent commission to run the game.

Hohaia says he has no knowledge of any potential strike. He hopes a strike does not go ahead as he desperately wants to play for the Kiwis.

The NRL and Players Union are meeting today to discuss a new collective bargaining agreement. The players want a much bigger slice of the money generated by the NRL Finals series while they also want State of Origin payments doubled.
