Veteran back-rower Adam Blair has been cited for a grade two dangerous contact charge in the Warriors' win over the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville.
Blair will miss two games if he enters an early guilty plea, but could be banned for three if he attempts to fight the charge at the judiciary and fails.
Adam Blair was expected to lead the Kiwis in an unofficial capacity as new coach Michael Maguire isn't going to name a captain.
The Kiwis' squad is named tonight.
